• New drugs against tuberculosis and Mycobacterium abscessus infections: design, synthesis, physicochemical characterisation, assaying, pharmacokinetic investigation.

• German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) funded TRISUSTAIN Project (investigation of antiinfective East African plants; project includes nine PhD students from or in Africa), see: https://trisustain.uni-halle.de/ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3, 8, 15

• Stable radicals as EPR probes for diagnostic purposes.
