IT Administrator
At Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Faculty of Natural Sciences I, Institute of Pharmacy, a permanent, full-time position is available as soon as possible for
an IT Administrator (m/f/d).
Compensation will be up to pay grade E9b TV-L, depending on the assigned duties and fulfillment of personal requirements.
Job Responsibilities:• Maintenance and upkeep of the Linux PC cluster in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry• Installation of new PCs/computing nodes• Installation and monitoring of software for work in the field of computational chemistry• Creation and management of user accounts
Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in IT, IT specialist certification, or comparable training• Knowledge of Linux operating systems• Experience in managing user accounts• Good command of German• Good command of English
